VINTAGE signed ELMER STENNES GILT GIRANDOLE BANJO CLOCK, AURORA GLASS TABLETS. This is a beautiful vintage 1960s-1970s gilt girandole banjo clock by Elmer Stennes.

Elmer Stennes was one of the finest clock makers back in the 1960s and 1970s with a very colorful life story. The clock measures 46 inches in total height, 12.5 inches wide at the widest part, 4.5 inches in depth. The bottom circular convex glass signed "Aurora" measures approx 8.5 inches in diameter, the bezel on top measures approx. The case is a very clean mahogany wood with original finish.

The face is signed Elmer Stennes and the case has numbers on each piece stamped into it which all match up so the clock is all original. The gold gilt has had a few touch ups on the carved wood base, i tried to take some close ups to show the touch ups, they look professional. There are 4 balls around the bottom door that have also been touched up, the rest of the gilt look original and in good condition. The brass movement is signed Elmer Stennes, the lead weight is also signed Stennes. All items must be paid within 10 days.
