1940s Sign Light 10 x 8 Appleton RED Porcelain Industrial Gas Station Vintage. Looking for a red sign light for your old gas station sign, restaurant or sign collection? Manufactured by Appleton/Goodrich, circa 1930's - 1940's, this light has survived and flourished for many decades!

The size is aproximately10" x 8" and is a. With the smaller edge being 7.5" and the larger edge being 10".

From the wall to the center of the light is 19. There are chips on the edge and and a large one as shown outside and inside. The shade was likely used outdoors much of its life but the matching fitter is off a light that was always indoors. The mounting tabs are a bit rough on the shade but it snaps together well and is sturdy. As you well know, red shades are quite a bit harder to find than green or white. The raised wall mount is a NOS Steel City brand and will fit most round or octagonal wall boxes or can be screwed directly to a wall.

The pipe is 1/2 NPT, standard for most signs. I will include the wire-nuts, might save you a trip to the hardware store. All electrical items should be checked and installed by a professional electrician. I'm a very fast and careful shipper.
