This is an absolutely beautiful, elegant and rare genuine ROLEX solid STERLING 925 SILVER 4 PIECE HINGED BACK cushion shaped watch case with its solid silver dust cover. The case is in good condition for its age. The case back only shows some light dings and marks. The case sides are excellent. The beautiful extended wire lugs are newly fitted by my jeweller as the old ones were beyond repair probably due to the rigours of field use.

They are silver and are in very good condition. The inside of the case is fully signed for ROLEX AND W&D (Wilsdorf and Davis the original founders of ROLEX watch Co). The hallmarks in the case back date this beautiful ROLEX watch to 1918 (London Assay marks) The case measures 3.1cms (31mm) across EXCLUDING the lugs and crown. In this era it was considered as a large size for a MANS watch (mens watches were normally smaller at this time as was the fashion trend).

This is a wonderful silvered with a sub seconds register dial. The dial is in excellent and original condition and shows a light even patina. It is signed with the retailers name of. Which is a worn but readable under magnification.

The black painted Arabic numerals with the striking red twelve are in good condition with a little loss here and there. It has a beautiful Art Nouveau look. The outer railway type minute track looks to be in good condition.

The sub second dial is also in good condition. The original blued steel'moon hands are in excellent condition. The crystal is brand new and as such is in good condition. This is a wonderful clean genuine 100% genuine FULLY SIGNED ROLEX quality grade quality 15 jewel movement. It is fully signed ROLEX 15 JEWELS on the top of the mainspring barrel.

It is also engraved Swiss made in a beautiful type set. This fantastic top quality ROLEX MOVEMENT HAS JUST BEEN FULLY SERVICED. It is in working order and is running well. I have timed it over 24 hours and it keeps good time to within a couple of minutes per day.

The crown is gold metal in color and may be the original onion style. All in all this is a beautiful ROLEX original movement. There is a lovely BRAND NEW black leather 22mm military style open ended black leather band.

As such it is unworn and is in excellent condition. The watch and band measure just over 8 and a 1/2 inches in total length. The band compliments this gorgeous solid silver ROLEX trench wrist watch superbly!
